I write fairly often about how Jan, my wife, is a wise spouse and excellent homemaker, but I have yet to brag on her creative genius. Jan gives vintage fabric and a new life with her many creations, which, by the way, can be viewed at her Blissful Notions online store.
I have given you a sampling in this roundup. Click on each picture for a much, much better view … AND the story behind it.
Am I proud? You bet! Enjoy.

Nice hand bag.
Thanks for the mention!
Great Round up. I’m honored to be included. Thanks for including me.
I checked out Jan’s online store. Really nice things there. I see she’s doing all the work while you’re doing all the keyboard tapping.
Thanks for the inclusion.
@Retire by 40,
I’ll tell Jan that you liked it.
@Dave,
OK. Now we know who is doing all the work around here, but let’s keep that a secret between you and me. Ooops. I forgot that Jan will read this. Oh well, the truth is the truth.
@krantcents,
You are welcome.
Thanks for including me in the recommended reading, and I didn’t know you also ran an online store on the side… very interesting. I like that there’s a story with each item.
Hope that you have a great Valentine’s!
Kevin,
My wife not only designs and makes her creations, she also runs her online store. And writes those stories. She is a pretty good writer, don’t you think?
Hi Joe,
Definitely! You should bring her over to guest post some time.
Kevin,
I like that idea, but I am not sure she would. I will tell her that other bloggers got a sampling of her writing through her online store and are clamoring for more.
