First of all, I still believe Bob Gibson was one of the best pitchers who ever took the mound.

Now, I just finished reading “Stranger to the Game: The Autobiography of Bob Gibson” and I don’t think I’ve ever lost so much respect for one human being as I did for Mr. Gibson after I finished the book.

If you want to read 286 pages of somebody who does nothing but brag about himself and complain about racism while at the same time revealing himself to be one of the biggest racists on written record, then this book is for you.
