10 Ways To Make Money For Teens
1. Complete Paid Surveys Online
This one can be hit or miss. I used one survey site and had a bad experience, but on the other hand I have found some survey sites to be a decent way for kids to make money. Here are a few of the better ones that I am aware of:
2. Playing Online Games
No, you didn’t misread that, you can actually get paid to play online games. Now you won’t get rich doing this, but if you are playing games online anyway, you might as well get paid for it! Click here for more info.
3. Get paid to watch videos
If you spend hours watching random videos on Youtube, you might as well start watching those random videos here because they will pay you to do it. Just like the one above, you won’t get rich, but heck any money is better than no money right?
4. Sell Plasma
Not sure how old you have to be, nor how painful it is, but if you are into that sort of thing, it can be a way to make some quick money.
5. Sign up for special offers
There are a lot of companies out there that just want permission to email you about their product. By completing special offers, they will likely email you pitching you their product, so you can get paid just for putting up with some junk mail. Not too shabby. Get started here.
6. Do random (and easy) tasks online
This site will allow you to get paid to complete simple online tasks. For example, you could get paid for giving feedback about a website, voting on which category a product may fit in, doing google searches, etc.
I have tried it out and have received multiple payments from them, so I can attest that it is legit. To me it seems like a great way for internet-loving teens to make a little extra cash. Find out more here.
7. Tutor or give lessons
Are you great at math, science, or kicking a field goal? Why not advertise your skills to those a few years younger than you? Many parents are willing to pay a teenager to tutor their child in an area that needs development.
Two years ago I wasn’t sure if there was money to be made blogging, but I have since found it to work out nicely. It isn’t something that will provide much income quickly, but if you stick at it, it can. I wrote extensively about how to make money from a blog a while back.
9. Freebie Trading
I first heard about freebie trading from Leslie who made $28K last year doing it part time. It seems like it requires a certain kind of person, but clearly there is potential as a decent money maker.
10. Trade in Old Video Games or Books for cash
Almost everyone has some old books or video games lying around collecting dust. Why not trade them in and get a little cash-back in the process. Find out more here.
